New Zealand 1954 - The life of the naive Lionel and his dominant factors mother is changed abruptly. During a zoo visit one " Mama" bite from a rare Ratmonkey in the leg. From now on to the bed bound notionless mother mutates to a dämonischen creature… not even their following death brings the earned peace. Freshly from the grave climbed it infects further notionless citizens, who keep Lionel hidden like a bad secret now in the cellar of the old house.
